Program Description:
Executive Quick
Start (EQS) program, an informative
“Long Beach Overview,” is designed for new and incoming local executives.
Participants will develop knowledge of Long Beach, its government, people,
business and its diversity. The series will include panel discussions and presentations on
the local business community; key companies and individuals; business
services; city history and demographics; cultural diversity; educational
institutions; the arts and tourism; public safety and government; and health
and community services.
EQS creates
opportunities to meet and interact with leaders of the Long Beach community,
including government officials, and business executives, association
officials and neighborhood leaders. EQS graduates know where to find people
and resources that enhance their professional and personal experiences in
Long Beach – connections that would normally take years to develop are formed
in just one month.
EQS is held this in just five
sessions, held on consecutive
Wednesdays evenings plus an additional Saturday session which includes a
morning bus tour of the city. Dinners follow each session at local
restaurants.

For more
information on the upcoming year’s program, please contact the Leadership
Long Beach offices.

The participant cost for the EQS program is $1250.
